protect the police

Seems gone were the days when the police are protecting us. these days, to build a better nation, we have to start protecting the police - from work.

(would like to attach an excerpt of my aunt's encounter with road bullies and inaction from the police... but have to seek her permission first.)

Anyhow, after the breaking in to my house, Meow and I went to make police report. 2 policemen and 1 policewoman was in the police post. after 15 mins of explaining the situation, 2 policement went off to their lounge to hang around while the policewoman is still trying to understand what we are saying, frequently misinterpreting the situation. after 1 hour she still cannot give us a police report and have to contact an "officer" who is incontactible over the phone before she could do anything. Finally at 2am in the morning, we found him. Policewoman then told him the story in a totally topsy turvey version which makes us sound like we are the criminal.

I told her I would take over the phone from her and she gladly passed it to me. At least the officer at the other end of the line was not as stupid and gave me pretty sound advice. at 2+pm, after correcting the grammar and spelling mistakes in our police report, we finally left the police post. i'm seriously doubting the quality of our watchmen.
